Gary Rohrbacher is a co-founder of AtFAB and a registered architect, who holds an SMArchS from MIT, an MArch from Columbia University, and a BA from Lehigh University. Throughout his career, he’s pursued architecture equally through both practice and teaching. As an educator, he has been recognized for his teaching excellence at Harvard University’s Design School, California College of the Arts, University of Texas at Austin.
As a practitioner, he focused on the integration of design, theory, and technology on award winning projects at Machado and Silvetti, Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, and other firms. This experience converges with Gary’s ongoing research on digital technique and networked processes to form AtFAB’s structural, material, and distributed design innovations.
